Middle Students
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is excited to offer two new magnet programs in the Woodlawn Community for the 2017-18 school year. The district is currently accepting applications for the Woodlawn Middle Academic Magnet and Woodlawn High Academic Magnet Programs.

To qualify for the Woodlawn Community of Magnet Programs, students must have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average for the last four consecutive semesters and a proficient standardized test score in English Language Arts (ELA) and math. Eligible students who live in the attendance zone of either school will receive priority admission into the program. 

Istrouma Middle, a dedicated magnet program, is also accepting applications for students in grades 6-8 for the Broadcast Communications or the Honors Program

To qualify for the Istrouma Middle Honors Academy, students must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average for the last four consecutive semesters and proficient standardized test scores in English Language Arts (ELA) and math.
